pretty expensive so i am most pleased with this
)Today visted Singapore Zoo and watched the animals in the blistering heat , a few good shows with the sea lions and the feeding of the lions. The zoo itself is pretty small, and they do well to get so many visitors. Its a far cry from London Zoo, the animals in singapore have much better enclosures and seem much happier.
Spent the afternoon in Orchard Street doing a spot of shopping .... the usual requirements from normal shops for her indoors :-)
Funny thing was Johnathon was leaving last night , since he had an 11:00 oclock flight ... he had a lot of time to kill before going to the airport. So after we had been ahem looking around some MORE electronics shops we came back to the hotel.
He was pretty hungry so i ordered some food for him ... when they came to deliver ... i could see the thought process ... two guys .. same room .. one bed (you can see where this one is going).
We make great pains in pointing out that he is flying out later so feel not so bad.
Later i am hungry myself , so i order some food for myself.. the same guy comes back. As i am trying to sign the slip he says to me
"I thought you were flying out at 11:00"....
I say "Yeah my", and then i fumbled for the word as i was still trying to scrawl my details.
and the he says it, the dreaded words, "Your Friend" .. with a knowing smile on his face ...
Shaking his head he walks out of the room, and i feel a little embaressed !!
Well flying home tomorrow, will be great to see the wife and kids, i always leave singapore with a little sadness....
