The Japanese have a completely different diet than us unhealthy westerners. Take tonight for instance, plenty of vegetables, soup and fish excellent healthy food, no wonder they all look so long.
I am going to keep this one short and sweet (Its one in the morning local time), its been a long long day , and I did not sleep at all last night, so right now I have about 38 hours on the clock , and been drinking. Neither good components for a blog entry.
Tonight’s delicacies included horsemeat, chicken cartilage, fish eggs and tofu, all a new experience for me. I did not shy away from any of these dishes, if you are going to eat out with the Japanese , then you should try as hard as you can to eat with them and not turn your nose up without trying it. I feel John and I did a good job of this.
Needless to say we had an excellent time, the company was great and the atmosphere of the traditional Japanese restaurant was unforgettable.
Anyway I said this would be short, I really need to sleep now and feel refreshed for long working day tomorrow, 9 till 9.
